How to Make Cute Butterfly Ribbon Hair Clips for Girls

Little girls our princesses.  No matter what hair style they have they are all adorable.  And every little princess loves 'pretties' for her hair.  Here is an easy tutorial on how to make this cute little clip for your princess's hair.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR MAKING RIBBON HAIR CLIP:

10mm Yellow Satin Ribbon
10mm Sky-blue Ribbon
0.8mm Yellow Sewing Thread
0.8mm Sky-blue Sewing Thread
Iron Flat Alligator Hair Clip

Acrylic Rhinestone Cabochons
Needle
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun

Step1: Make the ribbon butterfly

1st, prepare length of 15cm yellow ribbon, fold the ribbons to a buttery shape as picture shows, then securing it with a pin;
2nd, stitch the center part for fasten the ribbon butterfly, then cut off the extra ribbon.

Step 2: Glue the butterfly to the hair clip

1st, prepare sky-blue ribbon which length is little longer than the hair clip, glue the ribbon to the hair clip;
2nd, stick the butterfly to the hair clip with hot glue gun.

Step3: Finish making the cute butterfly ribbon hair clip

1st, prepare length of 15cm sky-blue ribbon, fold it 3 times, each folded layer is gradually shorter than the former one;
2nd, fasten each layers by stitching with the similar color string, cut off extra ribbon;

 3rd, stick folded blue ribbon strip to the hair clip with hot glue gun;
4th, finally glue cabochons to it for embellishment.

DONE!
